neil patel
about neil
Neil's first contact with yoga was through his mother Tara Patel who was teaching yoga since Neil was 4 years old. Neil spent many years assisting and watching the development of Tara's work. He also witnessed his father, Kirit Patel's work in selling and marketing Tara's products - which were the first yoga home video series in the UK. Tara taught yoga on the BBC and became one of the pioneers of yoga in London in the early '70s.
Naturally Neil began teaching as a teenager and is well into his 19th year of teaching at this point; quite an incredible achievement for someone still under 40! Neil began Chi Kri Yoga at the tender age of 25 and later on began forming concepts for Hip Hop Yoga and his venture into yogic rap as N1 or "The Rapping Yogi". Neil is a keen musician, philanthropist, and speaker as well as a writer of rap, poetry, philosophy and metaphysics.
Many things can be said of Neil, and his press pages and testimonials speak volumes of his charector and experience, but suffice to say, he is a breath of fresh air in the yoga world and a pioneer in his own right.
Classees with Neil Patel can be found on the "classes" section of the website.
